Isak Kvam is a freelance writer & editor and a co-founder of Seek More Wilderness.

He enjoys writing about the outdoors and travels full-time through public lands in his self-converted van. He grew up on the prairie of rural Minnesota; guided canoe trips on the Minnesota River; reported and wrote an environmental column for the Granite Falls Advocate Tribune; spent two summers studying climate change’s effect on plant communities at the Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory; studied the geology of the Apennine Mountains in Italy; and cut his teeth writing for a Midwestern clean energy non-profit.

He makes a living as a full-time freelance creative, writing articles and marketing campaigns, providing copywriting and copy editing services, and being a jack-of-all-trades for Seek More Wilderness providing outdoor goods that give back to the outdoors.
